Hydrogen is burned using a device that use a little electricity from the car battery separates water into a gas called HHO (2 Hydrogen + 1 Oxygen). This gas is also called Brown's Gas or Hydroxy. This gas burns very much energy production, the water converting chemical energy into mechanical energy. Hydrogen is burnt either in an internal combustion engine, or brought hydrogen and oxygen to react in a fuel cell, the electric motor running.
Any type of water may be used for this purpose, it is likely that a rain, sea water, or WC, but may be divided into hydrogen and oxygen. This invention is not new to the market, scientists have previously run cars on alternative fuels such as gas, waste and water. Some scientists have even said that the use of water is the mileage doubled, and it takes only 4 liters of distilled water per year and a small bottle of catalyst. This technology is cost effective and are an immediate solution to the energy crisis and environmental pollution.
Very soon, these cars will run on water, and the dream of Ratan Tata is seen certainly true. Imagine if cars run on water, we did not spend a fortune on gasoline.
