Societies
around the world have come along way in both the development and
implementation of new technologies, come make our lives more
comfortable. If there is a disadvantage of all these efforts is that they need fuel and won most of these fuels from fossil fuels. The consumption of this fuel further with increasing growth rates. The fossil fuels that we are talking about are mostly coal and natural gas. The biggest concern is that we are so much has gone on a resource that is finite, here today, tomorrow. Two
factors, global population continues to grow very quickly and people
are living well into their 80s and 90s, are limiting these resources in
an ever faster and it's only a matter of time until they are completely
exhausted.
These funds will not disappear in our lifetime, but if future generations are going to survive and we need to live as comfortably as measures are taken. We implement technical measures that contribute to the preservation and can even reduce our demands on fossil fuels, but if a man is to survive long-term alternative fuel developed and used. It is doubtful that mankind would go nicely to turn the clock back to the days of horses and carts for transportation. And it is also doubtful that we begin with candles for our home light source. Not only did we take for granted, but give little thought to turn on the light levels as we enter the room and leave it on when leaving. We turn the thermostat up and down in cold weather, when it is hot only hold our own personal comfort in mind. Many of the world's population give little thought to the next generation, but it is now time to get on and develop.
Fortunately, many people are more considerate of future generations and try to use our resources in the measured variables. There are many people around the world who are not aware of these issues and the only complicates the problem. Education is the world in an attempt to place a brake on our current consumption and also to introduce options that are available with every day needs. Significant gains have been in the renewable energy arena, and was indeed made with solar and wind energy, but we must continue to use these powers. The people of the world do not fear the unknown as far as relates to new energy sources, but embrace and employ them whenever possible. Fortunately, the U.S. government is actively involved and currently provides financial incentives for businesses and households, if they implement new energy sources such as solar panels. Even with the incentives, investment costs can be very high. For this reason alone often keeps people from this path, because it does not require the necessary resources. The United States has about 5% of the world population, but we consume almost 25% of global energy demand. Our energy needs make-up consists of 39% for electricity, 33% and 25% for heating fuels for the transport sector. The power consumption is generated by coal (48%), nuclear (19%), hydropower (6%), natural gas (20%) and coal (7%).
Based on the above figures, one can see that oil plays a very significant role in power generation. The fuel we use for transportation in the United State of oil (37%), coal (7%) and natural gas (56%) come. If solar power was more affordable, it has the power to fulfill our desires. Unfortunately the only factor keeping the sun out of our system revolutionized the energy costs. A major advantage of renewable energy (solar and wind) is the positive impact on our environment. Unlike fossil fuels, little or no harm is done if these types of renewable energy.
The Department of Energy has recently estimated that a distributed solar power system would require an average of 17 square miles of land mass per state. Through the use of parking lots, vacant lots and rooftops much land would be available. By using this land mass for solar systems we were able to provide the United States with 90% of our current electrical demand....
